Abaco Builders, Inc is based in Tequesta, Florida and proudly serves Northern Palm Beach County and Martin County for over 20 years. We are a licensed and insured, full service construction company that handles everything from preliminary concepts and drawings to permitting and everything in between until the time of project completion. We focus on communication between the on-site supervisors, the crew working on the project, and the client to make sure everything is meeting expectations throughout the duration of the project.
Charles Lofquist
Chuck Lofquist is the founder and president of Abaco Builders, Inc., a Florida-licensed building contractor serving Northern Palm Beach County and Martin County since 1999. With more than 35 years of experience in the local construction and restoration market, Chuck brings deep expertise in residential rebuilding, remodeling, and insurance-related projects.
After beginning his career in the insurance restoration industry, Chuck gained extensive experience estimating, negotiating, and managing projects from initial assessment through completion. He earned his Florida State Building Contractor’s License in 1999 and founded Abaco Builders the same year.
Abaco Builders’ success is built on clear communication, attentive client service, and delivering high-quality results at a fair price. The company remains family-run, with Chuck’s son, Chas, serving as Project Manager.
Chas Lofquist
Chas Lofquist is the Project Manager for Abaco Builders, Inc. With a lifelong exposure to residential construction, Chas brings hands-on experience and strong field leadership to every project.
He earned a B.S. in Business with a focus in Sports Management from Florida Institute of Technology and returned to Tequesta to join Abaco Builders full time. As an on-site Project Manager, Chas oversees daily operations, coordinates trades, and ensures projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the company’s quality standards.
Chas plays a key role in maintaining clear communication between homeowners, craftsmen, and the Abaco Builders team, helping deliver consistent, high-quality results.
