As a full service General Contractor serving Northern Palm Beach County and Martin County for nearly 40 years, Chuck Lofquist and son Chas oversee the project from conception to final completion and beyond. Starting out in the insurance repair business niche in the mid 1980’s  allowed Chuck to develop an eye for detail and an appreciation of best practices and materials resistant to the harsh environment found in the South Florida coastal area. Chuck has passed those abilities on to his son Chas.

For the client, a home renovation or addition can be a major disruption to your daily life; areas of the home can have limited access or no access at all, floors protected, dust isolation systems installed, tradesman, and new noises become the new temporary normal. To minimize these stresses, Abaco Builders does their very best to review your lifestyle to impose the least amount of additional stress. We will work around special holidays, changes in your daily schedule, or anything else that might affect your particular day. This is done by open communication and having project management on site as needed.

Initial Consultation

Our initial consultation is where the client shares their vision of what they are looking to achieve in this project. That is often done by concept photos, drawings, and prior experiences within the project concepts.

Project Development

After the initial consultation and concept development, we strive to “build the project on paper” which means selecting the appropriate materials and finalizing project details.

Outlining the scope

“Building the project on paper” allows the client to fully understand the scope and cost of the project all while allowing the client to understand the process in which it takes to complete the project on a schedule based on material selection and project details outlined in the scope of work.

Full-service General Contractor

As a full-service general contractor we can aid in in-house design or work alongside a local architect to assist in design and structural elements.

Material Selection

Assisting with material selection at local specialty vendors which can include specialty tradesman who can further assist in design selection and material usage.

Project Management

Project management is a significant part of a successful project as we supervise, coordinate, communicate, and provide quality control throughout the project.
